Hey friends - TODAY is the 20th Annual Great Guinness Toast! It’s also known as “St. Practice Day” (get it, since it’s 1 month away from St. Patrick’s Day? hehe).
Here are the details, but I know that Fado Irish Pub (214 West 4th Street) and The Flying Saucer (in the Triangle) are hosting events tonight.
The concept of collectively raising a glass on the 3rd Friday in February and toasting with the famous black and creamy brew is an attempt to gain entrance into one of Arthur Guinness’ other select clubs; The Guinness Book of World Records. It’s also just another great reason to drink Guinness!
